Old towns/places of interest:
Moraira is an old fishing town with a famous lighthouse and fish auction, where you can buy fresh fish every morning. On Friday there is a market on the main square.
It is also nice to visit the old Spanish architectural styles in “the old towns” of Javea and Altea , both about 15 min drive. Also here are dozens of charming restaurants where you can eat fine for relatively little money.
Via Altea you can easily drive to Guadalest . One of the most popular tourist attractions in the whole of Spain. About 2 million visitors come here every year! Guadalest is built around the castle on the rock. The village contains souvenir shops, museums and restaurants about tradition and crafts. It is a special location with stunning views of the Valley and the Guadalest reservoir.
